Fair point Samran and what you say is true, but check Co. House records and you'd be surprised how many such agencies are subject to an inspection by the revenue. It was just a way to avoid agencies having to provide holiday pay, annual leave etc. and nor what was intended by the then new legislation. Another example of joined up Govt. - not.

They pay particular attention to exactly those you mention!

Be wary of a change in legislation in due course and demands for proof of income...

On another note, how should I feel? We haven't even got the visa yet, but my wife is emailing God knows who (some I get copied into) and post is already arriving for her - I haven't opened any, but there are CD-Roms, brochures etc!!!

How should I feel? Help

Colin, when we're on the messenger - and apologies for going off topic, I get asked in response to photos sent via camera/email, "whats that", whilst I agree to some of the "guidance" I am getting from afar, including providing the website of my local (massive) garden centre and having agreed to certain requests, chop a bush here and there, no problem as I only have a small garden and I am no gardener, I have put my foot down about my Japanese Acer!!! Also turns out my one indoor plant (my pride and joy) is a lucky plant!! Phew. Big Grin

caller,

G/f has informed me she will sort out my garden and my mothers because she is a farmer? which I don't quite follow

I have been trying to sort the garden but so far cut grass and got about 5ft into the jungle (some appears to originate next door)

Anyway if she can get the visa this time I have bought enough garden tools etc to keep her happy Wink

I also get "what is this she has seen on tv usually " all the time too including after g/f requesting a picture of mothers dog (english setter)

With regard to indoor plants I only have fakes as real ones die on me (no lucky plants here yet!!! Roll Eyes but think in future we will have!)
Regards
colin244

ps Sorry to go off topic too
