Hi Ron-Tik
In England when I make Sukiyaki I just get
the vegetables that I can get easily from Indian shop
if i'm not going to chiness supermarket,
so which vegetables I normaly get was
1. Chiness cabbage
2. Celery
3. Spring onion
4. Coriander

but if you go to chiness supermarket i think
you should get morning glory vine (Pak bung)

Meats anymeats you like,

An egg

Nooddle its called Celephane nooddle

Sukiyaki sauce youcan get easy at thai or
chines supermarket it called Pan-Tai it
quite good I think.

How many people are going to eat with you?
Or just only you? If only you or 2 people
it easy to cook , just,
1. Add the water into the pot to make stock
for the soup, make sure it enough for 1 or 2.
2. when water is boilled then add the chicken
or the meats you like
3. wait till meats it cook and water look
clear then add vegetables chiness cabbage &
celery(cut them about 2 inc)
4. wait for few mins then add fish sauce,
M S G (if you like it) little bit of sugar
then taste
5. add celephane noodle into the soup for
1 min
6. add spring onion & coriander
(cut same size chiness cabbage)
7.break the egg into the bowl then pour the
soup ontop of the egg in the bowl,
8.mixed egg and soup togeter,

now time to eat if you like sukiyaki sauce
then add it to taste.

Hope you understand my English. Enjoy.

Hi again Ron.
just to let you know if you use prawn
or squid please add it as last and leave
them for few mins, because seafood are
easily to cook if you cook them long time
you will lose the taste of them.

Hi Ron,

I used "Lobo Brand" sukiyaki sauce and it costs 90p per jar. The taste is quite mild and sweet. Enjoy your meal. Thumbs Up

Hi Ron & Tik Smiler
I'm the same. I like to eat sukiyaki but not very often to
cook it because my husband doesn't really like to eat this with me Frowner. When you want to cook it you can use'Lobo brand called 'Thai Style SUKIYAKI SAUCE', same as p' Jenny told you. And a little bit of chillie sauce, after you put it in a bowl, makes it very delicious.

Hope you enjoy your Su-ki Smiler

Just a tip for the "bubble pot"

After trying a slow cooker ( my mistake) - we finally hit upon getting a portable gas burner stove for about £10 from Robert Dyas ( I think the gas canisters are a fiver as well)
That way you can boil away on the dining table rather than around the kitchen stove.

PS -Balck Gull I miss the MK duck as well!
