Hi
I realy fancy some good old fashioned rice pudding with a dollop of jam, has anyone got the recipe?

The last time I made rice pudding I used the instructions on the packet-more basic than Delia's, but tasty.

Make sure you use pudding rice-it's rounder and more polished than basmatic or thai rice. Pint of full milk,table spoon of white sugar. Stir together. Pour into an oven dish,add 4 oz of rice,dot with eight dots of butter,sprinkle about a dessert spoon of ground nutmeg over it. (Optional extra-toss some sultanas in at this stage). Whack in in the oven for an hour at gas mark 4. Remove from oven. Eat.
