My good lady wife spent two years of her precious life studying at a commercial school in Prachinburi where she obtained a A'level type qualification in Computing and Accounting. Does anyone know how to get this translated and/or converted into a UK equivalent so that she can show potential employers etc that she has an education and a level of skill/competency in this? She feels that the Thai paper she has recording her acheivements is worthless in the UK, I am sure it is not (if translated)! Also any guide to 'translation/conversion' cost would be appreciated if anyone has a similiar experience of this Thai to English Qualification conversion!?

NARIC:RECOGNITION & EVALUATION SERVICES for Individuals with International Qualifications.

It has been recommended in Life in the UK book.

We looked at this as my wife has a batchelors degree in accounting from, according to her,a fairly reputable university in Thailand.
Looked a bit of a rip off to be honest....I think it was £40 up to £75 for basically a letter;and i don,t even think it was gave any guarantees that it would be internationally recognised.
I,d love to hear from someone who has used them before Nod

My wife is almost completing a degree from Rajabhat Lampang and she says the university does translations for free. So if you're in Thailand or visiting soon it may be worth asking the college.

How interesting I was a teacher in Lampang. Lampang is a very nice town I really like the river and markets also the varied potteries in the area.

Wow, I taught in Lampang too, between May 2000-Oct 2001. Yes, Lampang is a great town. When did you teach there?

I was teaching in Lampang 1999 to March 2000 I had to look at old work permit.
I think I now know who you are but not sure. Did you by chance go there with a Welsh friend?
I was Teaching at a Tech.
Then went on to teach at Rajabhat Utradit
