So how are you are coping with the introduction of daylight saving time?

Apparantly there were quite a few thais expected in late to work today but Khun Somchai Pootlen of the Interior Ministry anticipated everyone would adjust fairly quickly and by Songkran everyone would be back to normal.

The upside is that the bars now get to close later. Banana

It's chaotic here Steve.

The gas bottle in our kitchen ran out on Saturday night, gas man promised to be here 8am Sunday, but turned up an hour late making us all miss breakfast.

Woody's at Summer School and his teacher turned up two hours late on Monday. It's only a three hour class. The guy's English but put his clocks back an hour instead of forward. You'd think he'd be accustomed to 'Dayright Saywing Time' (as they're calling it here) by now.

It's not worth bothering to ask anyone in the street any more what the time is, they just point east and say 'that way'. No-one knows!

The traffic light timers still haven't been adjusted either. Predicting this error, many Thais are going through the lights when they're on red, certain that had they have been adjusted by an hour they would have been on green.

I'm staying at home until it calms down.

Confused
