Does anyone know how I can connect to the internet from my house in Thailand when we don't yet have phone lines to our village?

Satellite I think but others on the forum are better placed to answer than me having done it. I don't think it's going to be cheap!!

I don't know about the coverage, but Orange do a GPRS/Wifi tariff for 1500 baht a month with unlimited usage. You can connect the phone using a data cable so no need to purchase seperate card. I'm sure others do a similar package but you really need to check on their coverage. |
