A mate has one which he bought the other week , he finds that the quality is acceptable but not perfect i.e. its okay in a laptop window but absolutely awful on any decent sized screen. Plus despite a fast broadband connection the service can be patchy and pixellated

I doubt it as its bandwidth dependent and the move to HD will make the files even bigger. I have a wireless connected mac which I use to stream dvds from a central server and I had to use a network cable because the wlan was too slow.

Maybe in a couple of years but don't forget if you plan to use it in thailand the broadband services there are pretty awful.


I generally record the programs on a dvd recorders hard drive and then delete them when we get home
