So I have just picked up an oldish computer as my laptop has died. I want to be able to type in Thai without using one of them virtual keyboard download thingies.
I know how to do it, go into control panel and all that malarky. however when it comes to installing it windows asks for me to put the disc in so that it can install a 10mb file. I don't have the installation disc. I have tried to search for the required files on the internet but have had no look. Does anybody know where i can get these files from on the internet as currently the missus is restricted to using the virtual keyboard thing. Thanks. Ben (another post down towards the 100 mark!) |

Hi Doggsy
Try to find a friend you can borrow a Windows XP CD from. AFAIK it will allow you to install the files from any Windoze XP CD, it doesn't have to be the original one used on your computer. In the past I've installed Thai Script on computers with XP Home by inserting an XP Professional CD .. and vice versa. Regards Paul พอล เข้าเมืองตาหลิ่วต้องหลิ่วตาตาม |
