Did you catch my link above there

it converts the flash video files from the site into the format of your choice. Should do what you need

I have a mac, so visual hub is probably no use to you

Andy I can send both the VDO as MP4 but they are large files so both together total 120 MEG. I tried the files as AVI on my Archos player before converting to MP4 and they are both pin sharp with excellent sound. A bit large to email but if you would like me to send the files just PM me with your postal address and I will send them on CD.

You would be able to compress the files without too much loss of detail but your new phone accepts micro SD cards so memory isnt such a problem Smiler

For large files ... Just Zip it and upload it to a file sharing site like Megaupload. And post the link to download it. Big Grin Simple and no postage to pay. Thumbs Up

Good plan Andy but the zip file stays around same size as they are already in a highly compressed format and I included a couple of extra formats for the Samsung phone. My connection at home is playing up at present and would take me so long to upload it would be as quick to post even using Royal Mail! LOL

Andy, I just re-read my post and I think it may be misunderstood especially the lol smiley icon at the end which was aimed at Royal Mail. I didn't mean that I dismissed your idea out of hand, in fact I did try to zip the files as you suggested that's when I discovered that the file size wasn't reduced sufficiently to make a difference.

Thank you for the suggestion though, if the files had been a different format your idea may have made the task much simpler. (kicking myself for not even thinking of trying to post a download until you suggested it)

I have now posted the files to Andy on a CD via first class snail mail so hopefully he should receive the CD by next Christmas Wink

Ian I think you are confused.... I had nothing posted.... it was the other Andy at the top of the topic.

Guana, No problem about the file sharing. There are many filesharing sites and one would of suited your purpose. I know as I use them all the time. As long as yer sorted anyway. Thumbs Up
