Hi,

Please could someone help me with a computer problem, it's driving me mad ! Confused A couple of websites keep 'hijacking' my web browser and i don't seem to be able to stop it happening. When i'm going from one website to another i keep getting re-directed to these websites that i don't wish to visit. It's always the same two websites.

I have several anti-virus/spyware programmes (Mcaffe, Spyware doctor, Zone alarm firewall) None of these programmes seem to stop this from happening. Please help ! if you have any suggestions i'll be very grateful.

Thanks, Kev

try CWShredder.

Hi,

I've used the routine on the CastleCops website a number of times for others in the past and have always been successful. It does take time to go through all the stages but it very methodical and does a good job of remove Spyware/Adware.

If you post your HijackThis (HJT) log here or PM it to me, I'll let you know how it looks.

Cheers,
Packpao

Zone alarm firewall

if your using the free version of the above then you will need to upgrade your firewall. I had the same when using the same firewall. I and a friend in the end had to purchase a package of mcafees suite which at the time was only 15 quid for virus scan and firewall off the internet. It did the trick. Also look for hijackthis freeware at download.com .
