Any body seen/tested/using the above ?

It runs under the Windows pocket PC operating system that a lot of PDAs have.

It has a map of Bangkok and all the major routes throughout Thailand available.

You can plan routes from a to b and get directions all the way.

Plan a route from where you are to where you input to travel to.

Drop in personal 'push pins' and navigate to them also.

It also has voice prompts in English.

Not to badly priced at 5000 Baht.

Just wondered if anybody had come across it before I buy it.

tia.

Thanks for posting - I only just saw the reply.

Shame about that, it did look a good bit of s/w. Just to make sure you are not commenting about another bit of s/w they sell/sold (and does look rubbish!)

Would you please have a look at the install and user guide.
It has screen shots of the product to make sure this is the one you saw so is the naff one ?

User guide install SmartNav 4.0.x English language halfway down the left side. It is the NAV6365.zip file.

Cheers,

Ian.

p.s. I did purchase a Thai map book from a link posted to this forum a while ago. It did look good until Pha wrote all over the route, notes in...... pen arrrgghhh. So apart from reading between her lines, now have a backup plan for the trip.
Getting out of Bangkok and back in to find to hotel concern me most.
