Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the specified protocol is not supported. If you typed a URL in the Open URL dialog box, try using a different transport protocol (for example, "http:" or "rtsp:").

Help Par has been using Juhbulani.com for months to watch thai soaps, movies etc with no probs. However today she tried to watch and gets this message above. Any IT genius out there who can help please.

I've just typed in www.juhbulani.com & gotten 'no page'? Is that the correct name spelling you've put up?

N Barton,

Just tried it out and checked on the unknown protocol, turns out it is made by REAL and is not switched on by default when windows media player is installed.

TO FIX:
open windows media player
select tools >> options
click the network tab

you should see RTSP, select that and click on configure
select autodetect proxy settings and it should now play your file from the web

enjoy Nod
