Hi Pete Hard to answer your question without knowing the make of your phone, but with some Nokias you need to set the "Phone Language" to Thai in order to get Thai script as an option for writing messages. Regards

Thanks. Mine is a motorola and when I set the language the phone goes all Thai but when I write the text it still is in English. I am sure I am not doing something right here.

No I can't read or write thai but I am learning. I do copy a bit out of books but i am working on it all. Trying very maak HeHe. Pressing the hash key three times doesnt work but it didnt give me ABC either so maybe theres a clue in there I will explore. I did get it to go into Thai with the finger touch excercise. Wish the keys were a little clearer like my computer keyboard. Still lots of learning to do.
