Mark, that's UBC's website. Confused

Same crap, different name - TrueVisions. Smiler

[edit] .. that's wrong, it's not the same; for farangs, the Premier League coverage is worse than last year. There may be a few more games being shown, but we don't get English pre-match, half-time or full-time commentary any more, just three fat Thai blokes talking rubbish. Wink

Paul,

IT's a heartbreak isn't it... Unbelievable. I'm glad I left BKK last season.

It used to be great, I lived in Sukhumvit 39 and would go out with other expats to a bar (mostly Chelsea in my case), choose the bar that was showing the game we wanted to watch, and enjoy the commentaries, etc.

Even in the open space of Nana Plaza, we could sit in an outside bar watching our game and keeping an eye on next door bar's game being watched by 'others' (MUFC, LFC or Arsenal). Great...

Midweek, alarm clock on, wake up in the middle of the night to watch Champion's League live coverage, etc, all c/o UBC.

The last couple of visits home to BKK this season has revealed that a little proactive homework has to be done to find what games are being screened and where... ...and then endure the Thai cronies gabbing on about their analysis in Thai...

Things are changing... Saturday nights out on the town just ain't the same!
