Does anyone know of any sites where it is possible to download Thai muisic and movies or if there are any thai torrent sites.

So far i have only managed to tease my homesick wife with broken streams of her favourite thai tunes.

As soon as she breaks into verse it buffers and i get the fading tone of her vocal range.

I have just downloaded Ong Bak, and Tom Yum Gong, the only other Thai material i could find involves hot lady boy action..... say no more.

There must be sites to download this stuff from, english or thai.

We dont have a thai keyboard and my wife isnt really into pc's yet if anyone can help i would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Dan

Thanks

My "finders" fee is very reasonable-don't worry Smiler

then try these websites

http://www.thepiratebay.org

I've just put these 2 links up but i do know of many more web sites that can give you content that you may need
in these web sites you can search for thai content , and there is alot of thai content out there .

just click on the link and away you go.

alot of movies come with english subs
and there is a lot of thai music as well as kareoke vcd (wrong spelling )

if you need any more info
just pm me and i will send all the info you need to keep you and your loved one happy for many many hours of viewing and listen pleasure .

oh i forgot to say that this little prog is the fastest bit torrent prog out there.
I am on a 2 meg line and a full movie is on my hard drive in around an hour depending on the seeders and the peers .

that is a movie with all the bits and bobs that you get when buying from hmv ,virgin , any thai dvd retailer .

as i said before do not pay for programes that are free.
If you have probs finding the programe or sites where the goodies are let me know and i will point you in the right direction .

example

tom yum goong , dvd screener with subs
shutter: full movie with english subs

the bodyguard (great funny movie )full dvd with english subs
and many more movies , music cd's , vcds and kareoke (wrong spelling )

All these where aquired in days or sometimes a couple of weeks after there official cinema release date and all proper dvd quality .

as i said before DO NOT pay for any programe that is already out there for free .

If anyone needs any more info just PM me and i will let you know where to find this material and more .

Asians love to use bit torrent you will struggle to find good content anywhere else . forget kazzaa and other **** like that, use a BT prog like azureus and you will not go wrong

i find that Azureus is the best prog for me but there are lots of othere BT progs out there it is just my chioce that i use this prog

DO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING THAT YOU CAN GET FOR FREE

to the mods as i said before if i have broken any rules i am sorry it will not happen again .

no more post on this subjectn by me

It might be worth mentioning that opening up the TV links, the mms links,in VLC media player(It's free)is much better than using WMP.

I use Bit Lord , and get my torrents from torrentz.com which searches all the torrent sites in one fell swoop. The problem with the thai material on these sites is that it is not seeded by enough people. If there was a thai torrent site full of thai movies and music seeded like some of the material on our sites we'd be laughing!!!

Im sure somewhere there must be a thai site similar to torrentspy etc

I have finally managed to download Bang Rajan after nearly two weeks on a 2.2mbs connection........ Despite the wait the wife is still well chuffed... Quality movie!!!!!!!

Can anyone recommend a thai scary movie that they have seen on one of the torrent sites? I dont mind waiting a couple of weeks for it as my next trip back to LOS wont be for a while!!!

Dan

shutter

you'll find it on www.thepiratebay.org

there are also many movies that are thai horror on vcd format

try mininova.org

isohunt .com

http://members.chello.nl/~p.weirsema/list.html

the above site will give you lists of BT sites to sift through.

you can get the warriorr of ayydhyha (wrong spelling) on the piratrebay plus many more .

but definately look at the members.chello.nl site
that will help you alot

the site is up and running i know that for 100% sure .
the only other thing i can think of is to do a yahoo search using the above name and you should find it no problem .

there is atleast 100 BT listed when you get to the correct page .

best of luck to you

Hello All, I have recently downloaded Shutter and Bang Rajan, Xvid DVD rips with .srt and .sub files. The movies are good quality but I'll be damned if I can convert them to burn onto DVD-R and play them on the TV instead of on the PC. Trying to use WinAvi to convert Avi files to DVD files and include the subtitles. The movie file and subtitle files are both the same in name and in the same directory on the Hard drive. Also downloaded VobSub as I read a guide that this will run within WinAvi and make sure the subs are added when the disk is burnt. Don't know about burning disks, but this is burning my head out! Smiler Any help out there?? Thanks

Andy, what problems are you having are trying to get the thing set up? Have you installed a torrent client on your computer( try "u torrent", very small, does not hog your system resources) and then search for the stuff you want to download using your browser. Click the file you want to download and save it to a location on the PC (a new folder on your desktop called "dump" or "downloads", something like that?) Go into the folder and double click it and it should make your bit torrent client fire up and do its thing. Hope this helps. Thumbs Up

do you have all the correct codecs on your machine .

if your not sure go here

www.free-codecs.com

and download k-lite codec pack full

and then just uninstall things like media player 6 and install everything else ,but you can choose what you want and what you don't want on your machine .

as for burning
i find that win avi is a hit and miss when converting and then burning .i always ended up with lots of coasters .

the programe i use 1click divx to dvd
www.1clickdvdcopy.com
and you will be able to atleast down load a free trail version unrestricted for 10 days or 10 burns i can not be sure on that point .
then if it works for you ,if you buy the prog you get lifetime updates for free .
or you could go and find a cracked version which i do not encourge as this prog has worked wonders for me .
This programe will convert just about any format and burn it on to disc for you .As long as you have the correct codecs .

as i said makes sure you have something like k-lite codec pack full on your machine .it has just about every codec anyone needs

Hope that helps .

gwf, Thanks, I will give it a try. I am on a bit of a learning curve with this, thanks for the advice. Do you know of any other sites for Thai downloads? When I am searching for stuff I am getting the same 5-6 usual suspects, Ong Bak, Tom Yum Goong, Shutter, smut etc. It seems to me that only the really popular stuff of the moment gets a good result when searching for torrents. Tried various combos, thai+torrents, asia+ torrents etc but without knowing the English names for a movie it is a bit of a struggle, lots of Korean stuff and Manga to wade through. Thanks for your help.

you could try giving newsgroups a try but not any of the european based ones as they are ****e .

i was using an american sevice for a long time and had no problems what so ever .

anything you download comes straight off servers and is extremely fast and easily maxed my bandwidth .

you will have to pay a small subscription but it is very worth while as there is masses of content on just about everything you can think of .

newsgroups are where you will find blockbuster movies full dvd retail first .
and thats before it hits the cinema .

thai content i am really not sure .
but the good companys make it easy to cancel if you are not happy .

and they normally give you around 30gig a month to download ,some give even more

price can start at £3.99 a month fantastic value

as i said befor if you use news groups get an american provider much more content and so so much faster .
most will give you an newsreader to download any files you want and you may need winrar to unwrp the files .

all very east to do
just do a search for newsgroups in yahoo and you will find all the info you need to decide

hope that helps for you

other than that you can buy thai dvd movies online with thai retailers or agaian Amercian retailers that specialise in asian cinema .

i will find the web page and get back to you .

Anyone wanting to write DVDs (e.g. make "backup" copies) should take a look at www.doom9.org to decrypt and compress DVDs and Nero Burning to write them.
