I don't believe it!

Hi,

Long time since I have been on the forum (June last year) due to work commitments, but a desperate situation has arisen. My wife depends on Doozija for her daily fix of Thai news and soaps and for the last week it has not been working. We pay $10 a month and think it is money well spent, but for some reason, we cannot find anyway to pay now and consequently cannot access the content properly. Has anyone else found this and found an answer? I am getting a right earache cos of this! Have tried emailing doozija.com with no result. Help!

Doozija is a great service but really really flakey. Iang sorts it out herself each month. Some months it takes many attempts before you can pay. One trick might be to set up a new username and password and then try to pay.

Sometimes Doozija is just down.

Let us know if you have no luck.

Not sure about soaps, but till you get connected again, Lak can see the news on here.

Thanks for the replies. Tried to sign up again but when logged on as the new user it still gave us nowhere to pay money and consequently no shows. Lak has been using hispeedworld to look at the news, but it is only in a small picture and she is used to full screen and pretty good quality from Doozija. Is no-one else having the same problems?

Cheers

Barry

Yes, my wife loves doozija but it hasn't been working properly for days. She can login, select the shows she wants, then it says it's connecting for media but then just gets a blank screen. Refresh just repeats the same sequence.

There seems to be no way to contact them to even report it. I tried creating a new account and that gets the same "service". I won't renew unless it becomes more reliable.

We are having the same problem. And it is impossible to renew membership at the moment. Is anyone NOT having problems please?

There is a way or reporting problems, and we have used it, so maybe get some help from them.

Not good news I'm afraid. Doozija has a sister service called Phoneja. They are encouraging cxlients to switch to phoneja and get doozija free. But on the phoneja web page you will find hundreds of comments by doozija customers saying they think it is a con - that phoneja will take the money and then close doozija!

Anyone know anything about phoneja?

Any other Thai TV sreaming services?

Apparently they want us to pay money in Thailand to get the service. My wife got her sister to try today, but she was told by the bank that they would charge her B200 to do the transfer. Since the $15 amount for a month is only B590, she thought it was unnacceptable and didn't proceed. Anyone got any more news?

Anyone using Doozija again?
Are you having any success using it?
The missus stopped using it about the time this thread was running, for the same reasons as discussed.
Vee's now logged on again and decided she wants to give it a go again.
It's asking for payment by 'paysbuy' which is a new scheme for us, does anyone have any experience of the system?
regards
Kevin

Yes, my wife wanted to give it another go, so we have tried to do the Paysbuy thing. It is like an asian version of Paypal and similarly convoluted in signing up. We had a go a month ago and have still haven't successfully finished the sign up process. Until we do, we can't send any money to Doozija. My wife, never very patient, is rather fed up with the whole thing. The other site we use, ObizGO.com, accepts donations from PayPal, and takes all of 1 minute to pay! If you haven't tried ObizGO.com yet, have a go. Not quite as good as Doozija, but pretty decent and at least it works! Keeps my wife happy anyway!

Cheers

Wife subscribes to iptv, cost is 30 US dollars (approx £16.50 at current exchange rate) for a 3 month subscription, or cheaper if subscribing for a longer period.
Never had a problem with connecting or streaming, quality is very good, can access live tv, archived vdo's of soaps and films, sport, karaoke etc.
Previously she used Doozija until switching to iptv twelve months ago, she thinks iptv is far superior to Doozija and would not want to change back.

Iang uses the same website (although I thought the address was www.thaitv.tv) and says it is excellent - better than Doozija.

Ian,
Yes, you are correct, the address is www.thaitv.tv (I think the closing bracket prevented your link from working).
On our pc the log in page is set as the homepage, that is the link i used, although similar there are differences.
The above link would be the correct one to use.

Regards,
John S.

I agree that the www.thaitv.tv site is much better than Doozija. Linda used it for a time and was really good.
However, the subscription expired, and now the site wont let me renew with UK credit card. Their system keeps flagging the Visa card, for a zip code. It does not recognise UK style post-codes, and consequently keeps supplying "address error or zip code error". I have emailed Thaitv several times, but they do not seem interested.

Anybody else had this problem?

Nick.
