I think standard policy is 30 days...but can get it extended...I have a premium policy, covers you year round, luggage about £2000, golf clubs, scuba diving , skiing etc...was about £100 from memory. Nick |

American Express do some excellent Worldwide travel cover. There are a number of options available.

I too use Direct Travel, they are very reasonable, but fortunately have never needed to make a claim and so can't advise on how well they handle aftersales

I get an annual policy from Roland Smith.
www.rolandsmith.co.uk It covers anyone who lives in my house. No restrictions on number of trips, and also covers winter sports. covers. trip Cancellation £3000 Emergancy medical £5,000,000 Bagage & personal effects £1500 money £500 Personal liability £2,000,000 Personal accident £20,000 The cost for me is £44 per year, but that is discounted through my work. Still i dont think it would be much more without a discount. (about £70 i think) I think they do discounts for Police, Fire service, Ambulance and NHS staff. Hope this helps Scott |

thanks for the link, cardiffnoddy. £32 for worldwide multi-trip cover is pretty good, especially with 50 days allowed for each trip!
