I decided it was time to try the dentist in BKK! After my last bill for a filling in UK, this was an easy decision...

on Suk soi 49. And i was very impressed. On my first visit i had a check up and x rays taken. Then went to a hygenist, for so cleaning work. The dentist advised me that 2 fillings needed fixing (as i suspected). I made another appointment for the following week...and i was very pleased with the work done.

The total bill came to around £65. But this was for abt 3 hrs work, and quite a few x rays.

Overall, i was very pleased with the place, and will be back in december!

Seconded. I started going some years ago after reading that it was the first choice of the US ambassador to Thailand. I figured it must be good and so it is. Somewhat amusing is the vast range of sticky confections and drinks available there too so that you can obviate the neccessity of further treatment by making all your teeth fall out.

Anybody have any idea of the price of a gold tooth, mine has just fallen out and I may wait till I get over there i get it done.

this might be of some good for members, kanchana's uncle has his own very successful dental practice in Bangkok and now has told me that any one who uses his practice will recieve a discount from their bill by simply saying my wife recomended them.i will give telephone address details later, i don't know what discount will be given as being family we don't pay for treatment
