Unfortunately my lady friend who has been living and working south of Chonburi with serious liver disease has moved back to Udon Thani. I need to find a decent hospital and not sure wether to search around in Khon Kaen or not.
Anyone have any knowledge on the local hospitals in those parts. Ideally I need a decent specialist.

There is an international hospital in Udon Thani http://www.aekudon.com/aekudonEn/main.php , not sure about liver specialists though.

You could try the Sri Nagarind Hospital in Khon Kaen, my niece was referred to there from Aek. Unfortunately don't know if they have liver specialists, but would imagine Aek would have or would be able to recommend a better choice if not.

According to this I would imagine there would be a few specialists around the Khon Kaen area.

Khon Kaen Ram is very good but is apparently a bit more expensive than other hospitals in the area. I do have a telephone number somewhere for an English speaking administrator (Aussie I think. If you need it pm me and I'll try and dig it out.
