are there any english doctors or english speaking doctors in BKK ?

am worried about my fiance , i think she showing signs of
PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome, and she does not like doctors or hospitals, so i want to go somewhere where i can do all the talking.

any advice ??

The hospital in Rama 9 has English speaking gyni consultants , but its not cheap.

Try the Bumrungrad hospital in Bangkok, more like a hotel than hospital, but excellent service and when I was there, far from what I would call expensive! (Some might consider Expensive for Thailand though). English is no problem.

As with all private healthcare, expect walk out with a big bag of medication.


Still makes me laugh that Bumrungrad has a Maccie D's.

I would think that one of the big, and expensive, hospitals mentioned above would be your best bet. However, I found many doctors in Bangkok who spoke good English. I used to go to a small surgery in about Soi 7 or 11 of Sukhumvit.

When I was living in Thailand there was also a British GP surgery and a British hospital, but I don't think either were very good, and they were expensive.

I can also recommend DR. SOMCHAI TANAWATTANACHAROEN at BNH Hosipital or Dr. Nopadol Saropala at Bumrungrad International Hospital.

Most of the doctors and nurses in international section of private hopsitals in BKK speak English, I know that Bangkok hospital has an IMC-International Medical Centre where all of the staff speaks very good english, I worked there for few months before I came here and the service fee is sensible.
