On arrival at Heathrow 28/12/05 At passport control my wife was told that she would have to have an HIV test we were asked to go to a room close by, the health check turned out to be a chest xray and not an HIV test.
I am posting this information as it maybe that new arrivals may well be asked to take blood tests as well as xrays. |

Was that your wifes first entry to UK ? Just we will be coming back from our holidays soon and don't really have to want to go through all that after a 11 hour flight.. Thank you Sy n Su |

Yes it was the first time she entered England I do not think your wife would be asked to go for a health check only new arrivals but I am not sure. |

Hi ya bilbo, just wondering how long the chest x-ray took from getting told to go at passport control to getting cleared(are we talking hour's?).Did they let you get ya bags first or did you go alone and get them and come back? cheers if you can help.........mark. |
