My Friend and his Wife and Son were due to fly to Thailand on the 16th of last month, I asked him if he had Travel insurance he said yes, for himself only, his Thai wife and son could get the 30baht treatment if they were unwell, his wife phoned me a few days ago and I thought the line was very good from Thailand, it turns out that they had put the cases the night before in the car and were travelling next morning and he had a stroke in the night, so it look's as though he has lost about £800.00 on wife & sons tickets, not that he is in any state to worry.
So be warned GET TRAVEL INSURANCE!

Last trip could only get cover for 28 days I think it was,so took a gamble with the other two days.

It was lucky they were not on the plane when he had his Stroke.
