Whilst looking for travel insurance for a friend I come across this site, anyone used them before?

I was checking for 66 days insurance for Thailand for a couple and my normal insurer can up at just over £140 for a single 66 day trip, checked the Post Office (>£300) and Swindletons(>£200). Cheaptravelinsurance provided a quote for a years policy 91days max single trip for a couple worldwide at £90 + £1.50 for documents to be posted as well as emailed, cover was at the higher levels too, anyone know of any catches with them as seems a massive bargain?

ian

i haven't come across cheaptravelinsurance before, which is an appointed representative of europ assistance, a well-known company. after a quick read of the policy, i can't see anything wrong with it!

my current policy, covering only one person, is an annual policy through flexicover.net and this is also underwritten by europ assistance, but with a maximum trip length of only 50 days each trip. it expires this month and flexicover has offered to me a premium of £49.50 for annual cover as before, or £66.83 for annual cover that allows a maximum of 100 days per trip. i think this is roughly in line with ur quotation.

incidentally, why are we all called ian?

The name Ian as we know it comes from Scotland but actually originates from the Hebrew language. It means something along the lines of 'God is forgiving' or 'God is gracious'.
