This is the message from John Stewart at Farang Shop in Camden Town

Hello,

Many of those of you who know me will be aware that in addition to my normal day job, I have a shop in Camden which imports arts and crafts from Thailand and South East Asia.

Since setting that business up 2 years ago, many things have happened and my ties with Thailand have become very strong.

I wanted to put something back directly into the community with whom I do business and spend so much time. So, earlier this year I set up the Chiang Mai Children's Trust which supports the children of Tong Khay School in Chaing Mai. Already this year we have helped quite a few children continue their education and build a bright future for themselves.

I've attached a PDF of our fundraising leaflet and would appeciate it if you could have a look and any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. The leaflet shows how you can make a donation.

If you wish to donate by credit card you can return the form to the address shown. If it's easier for you, you can also just email all the requested details and we can process the transaction from those.

If you would like any actual printed leaflets, let me know and I can send you some.

Alternatively, even if you do not wish to contribute, you can still do a great deal by forwarding this on to your own email address book. Thank you for your time.

Kaphunkap,

John

I've just googled 'Farang Shop in Camden Town' and got nothing.

Does the shop have a website?

Mol and I were in this shop only a few weeks ago. It really is amazing, some of the Thai/Bhuddist stuff on sale was jaw dropping (so were the prices)
