Hi
how about the Blue Elephant in Fulham Broadway herefor prices and 360 views. Went there for Dads 65th. Suvalee (Thai Stepmum) recommends it. My favorite is Thai Restaurant at the Bridge Inn Isleworth (right by the station)because its my stepmums Stephen |

When I lived in central London I used to go to Thai Cottage which if memory serves correct is D'Arblay Street off Wardour St in Soho, probably the cheapest and most authentic Thai restaurant I found in London but also probably not the most romantic available.

hi guys
phil just a thought would she not prefer another type of restaurant. after all most thais i know (kanchana included) tend not to go to thai restaurants (unless its a party type affair) saying that they can make it better and cheaper at home but always likes to go out for a meal wether it be indian, greek, italian, japanese etc (but not chinese) |

If you want somewhere with great atmosphere and beautifully-presented food, then I agree with the others, that the Thai Square chain has just that.
But if you're after authentic peasant style Thai-Esarn cuisine, then Esarn Kheaw in Shepherd's Bush has just that. It's popular among Thais living in London with laid back atmosphere (although don't expect much from the decor and the restaurant is pretty small). There're so many great dishes who won't find in most Thai restaurants in the UK. Needless to say, their main customers are Thais, so the food is really spicy. However, since it's a special occasion, so you probably want something more romantic (something you won't get in Esarn Kheaw) so your best bet is probably the Thai Square like the others have already recommended.
