Once again your collective brainpower is required!! Smiler
I lived in LOS for approx 15 years and in that time I saw some great TV series. Cool
Now that I am (unfortunately) back in 'Blairs Kingdom' Cry my mind goes back to those series and I have a hankering to watch them again.
Problem - I can't remember their titles!! Blush (This is where you lot come in!).... Helpcan anyone help me out on the titles?

1. (About 5 years ago) Woman (I think in reality a Thai pop singer) escaping from baddies jumps off a bridge into a river. When she resurfaces she eventually finds out she has travelled back in time to when Ayutthya was the capital. She is befriended by a long-haired Thai warrior and her problem is to return to her own time!!............Title anyone?

2. (Maybe 8 years ago) Haunted house - dead woman's body in a see-through coffin in a room in the house - baddie (well-know Thai actor) ends up thrown in the glass coffin and he can't escape, and dies. End......Title anyone?

I have one or two more but these two will do for now! LOL

Sairung can't be 100% sure,but she thinks;

1)it may be 'Playtian' and seems to think that Tata Young sang the title song called 'Ja kep aow wai hai ter poo deo'
and may have appeared in the show.

2)She remembers the show and had 2 actresses in the same role, the first was Kaow Apirudee and the second was Ann Siriam. She can't recall the title and it's starting to drive her nuts! Maybe the show was called 'Sonkrin'

Hope it helps. Crazy

Well, TV guru Lek agrees totally with Sairung on the first one and with the actresses names on the second but thinks the show was called something like Soo San Khun Ben (my duff transliteration, obviously)

She also said she thinks that the first one is viewable on http://www.thaitv.tv (along with LOADS of others, Jaray, if you haven't already been immersed in it!) but she couldn't check as Woody is on XBox Live.

Well that was such fun....bit like a quiz game!! LOL that I've got a couple more for all you square eyes out there Wink

1. TV series about 6+ years ago about the SERI THAI movement - that's the Thai underground freedom fighters who did their best to disrupt the Japanese occupation of Thailand during WWII. The Allies dropped arms, equipment and money to help the Seri Thai and, what THIS series was about, a Thai patriot flown in from the US and parachuted into Thailand to organise the Freedom Fighters!!
Incidentally, one hilarious line in the show was a Japanese soldier who had gone into the local town to buy some food - he was trying to tell the Thai woman stall holder that he was sick - "pom ben Khai"....but he had the wrong tone for the 'khai' word and so the woman rolled about laughing because he had actually said "I'm an egg"!!
Title anyone?

2. Black comedy TV series about 4 years ago....set in the recent past about a gang of well-meaning outlaws, one of which was a woman, trying to clear their names with the local police. The theme tune was a very catchy 'Shadows' type twangy instrumental.
Title anyone?

Put on your thinking caps until the next instalment of questions LOL Wink
Cheers Thumbs Up
