Stopped in above town on my travels today and ate lunch at great Thai restaurant (Exotic Thai). Best food I have eaten in long time. Apparently they have new chef who is really, really good, plus lunch, two courses, plenty of choice, was £5.95. Later found excellent asian supermarket near shopping mall (foundry) and stocked up before continuing my journey. Food was very cheap, thai coconut milk at 54p, mama noodles 5 for a pound, good fresh ginger and galangal, lots of thai herbs.
