Hello All
Season greetings, we have some new year gifts for family in Thailand, the box is only 1.5kgs and 36x36x13cm. I have had quotes form DHL of £35 more from others. Does anyone know a cheap service to send parcels to Thailand. Any advice gratefully recieved All the best |

Try the Post Office, Airmail should cost just under £15 for a "Small Packet" under 1.5kg.
You may find a "box" is not a "Small Packet" so you may want to consider repackaging the parcel or shoving it in to a 'Jiffy' bag. Different Post Office employees have a different interpretation of what is and isn't a "Small Packet"! Tobias - โทเบียส |

Just use the airmail service from the Post Office! Given that it is less than 2kg, mark it clearly as a .... Small Packet ... and also ensure that you use the International Signed For service.
It seems you are OK for size :-
In our experience totally reliable ... parcels sent on a number of occasions .. including a couple of weeks ago ... Christmas presents! Cost of sending a 1.5kg Small Packet? £14.83 + £3.50 for ISF = £18.33. Plus possibly an extra £1.50 if you want extra compensation on loss. John |
