dont know if anyone can help, in england you can buy a car from £200, but when i look for cars in thailand the cheapest i have ever seen is 50,000 £750, next time im in thailand instead of renting for 5 weeks i was wondering if there are any cheap garages in pattaya where i could buy a banger and then give away to the relatives when im finished rather than throw money away to rent.

any ideas ?

I looked a lots of second hand cars at various garages, but even real old bangers demand half decent money. i just hire a driver and car every day, its cheaper at around 250 baht, plus petrol per day.this is in my local town, not pattaya. i will buy a new car, but not until i live there. The family would trash it.
