Hi
My wife has grown Thai Pumpkins and Thai Basil Out side as we don't have a green house yet in North London. As well as normal veg. Unfortunatley we were a bit late with the pumpkins this year and hope to start them early next year. dkcr |

Thai chillies,
The easiest way is to get a chillie cut it and empty seeds into a little compost keep it moist and warm on a windowsill dead easy to grow on, just take out the weak ones and re-plant the rest into seperate pots, try to cross polinate the flowers as an when they appear, plant them outside early spring, but make sure you start to grow them round about january Gra chai, Buy a bunch of tubas from your local thai supermarket plant them outside early spring, come september lots of gra chai. Lemon Grass, Exactly same as above. Egg plant, same as above.(seeds from Thailand) Thai ginger, same as above. regards Bryn P.s these are tried and tested methods I'm there Bryn |

Egg plants can be grown in two ways shrub as in thailand
or for better yield let them grow as tall as possible this will be limited with the glass house roof,we allow ours to reach just over 9 feet they are kept at 90 24 hours per day in hydroponic feeding system. we plant the seed into module pods in january and then move them into the main hydroponic system in march and the plant yields until we cut them down in october at the end of the pepper season. sean |
