A friend of mine in Koh Chang has not been very well and had to do have an injection from the Doc.
She's just opened a very small bar (shack) and has been overdoing it a bit...too many late (and rainy!) nights. To cheer her up I ordered some flowers from Interflora. (Easy option... but I was in the car at the time). Ordered about 3.30 pm yesterday, and was not too confident about their arrival, just said a nice £50 bunch...Yeah, I know I'm a softy ;-) This morning, 9 am our time, a tearful phone call. She couldn't believe I sent her flowers from the UK...thought I must have been in Thailand!!! I don't know about the quality, size, etc etc etc. and frankly I don't care. But the way it made her feel this morning was worth a million. Nick |
