Stick to the Islington one Tony, do not go to Putney!

The Richmond one is just another of seemingly hundreds of Thai places in the town!

But you're right, the missus still has her Oyster card although she has no credit on it.

Just hope the Thai Square resturants near you is better than the one in the city Minories which was an experience I wont be having again. Food tasteless, small portions and over priced.

For future reference Oyster often has some really good offers, particularly 2 for 1 deals on shows etc.

Oystercards can be obtained on the spot from most stations and give much cheaper prices on fares too. Well worth having.

Whats a valid Oyster Card? Do they have an inspector style checking machine at the resturant? LOL

I would suggest that if your beloved has a problem with a Budda "statue"(sorry I don't know the correct term) being in a place where alcohol is consumed, then don't go to the Putney one ( last time we went, it did upset...Mrs Skippy, slightly) - so we haven't been back even though some friends of friends and some of our Thai friends kids(younger student Thais etc) actually work there.

BTW the food was fine, especially as my boss was paying..

My wife noticed that and didn't even comment - too busy deciding what cocktail to have, I guess? Smiler

Unfortunately, we definitely didn't enjoy the food! Frowner
