Thad's got a moat, and Iang's family say its knee deep in the road outside, so Buri Ram got hit by this typhoon.

Any other reports?

Ian

It was only the outer edge for us Ian..... there were some strong winds in the early hours of this morning.... a few trees knocked down but no substantial property damage.

Thailand is lucky, a typhoon picks up strength over the sea but then looses it over land.

But I do need to get to full speed in the car (not full, but the best it can do in the drive) just to get on the road at the moment.

And it's cold.... 25c....... someone get me a brandy please Wink

my wife and kids are in buriram, just south of nang rong, she said it has been very windy, and big raining,i just put that down to her cooking.it will be a test for the block wall i started building around our land in august,as i have built it the farang way,and they keep saying it not strong.it was 10 times quicker to build than the thai way,all i kept hearing them speak was,how farang know how to do this.

Colin, if you should find yourself in our village area ( Bai chan, Bangkhok ) near Plablachai, can you give me a damage report, May went home from BKK to see her sick mother on friday and i cannot get through to them, and usually its not a problem as they have a dirty great big Mobile phone mast in the garden. long shot i know, but only if your passing that way mate.

I used to be indecisive.....but now i'm not so sure!!!

I know Plablachai Marc..... trust me, it wasn't that bad around our neighbourhood..... it was worse last year.

At the worst, the mobile telecom mast has been knocked out of alignment a bit.... at best, the mobile hasn't been plugged in to charge it up for a while.

PM me with the number.
