A British holidaymaker has been raped in Pattaya, only two weeks after Katherine Horton was raped and murderded on the Island of Koh Samui.
The 28 year old you cannot be named for legal reasons, was on holiday in Pattaya with friends.
Police in Pattaya have arrested a 19 year old Thai national.

A British woman has been raped while on holiday at the Thai beach resort of Pattaya.

Very unfortunate, however whay was she on her own taking a lift from someone she did not know.

Prior to Xmas there was an ad campaign around women getting into cabs on their own, its not safe in the UK or any where else.

Was the girl drunk ?

Was it a motorbike taxi? Seems likely but she was still being very naive.

Chap posing as a motorbike taxi apparantly. The victim is from Liverpool and was doing a modelling photo shoot,but had elected not to stay with the crew. Picked up on Threppasit by the "mototaxi",taken back to his apartment on Threppasit and raped on the wasteground on soi 17.
