The 2 baht coin has been in circulation sometime now, and its causing a few problems amongst the natives, even me afew months back when paying the 1 baht toilet fee at MBK i paid with a 2 baht coin and no change given!! I didnt argue the point as i truly believe the girl just took it as a 1 baht coin, seeing as she must see hundreds a day and had the face of a slapped wet lettuce!!
I used to be indecisive.....but now i'm not so sure!!!

I seem to get charged b10 for a toilet visit what sort of mark up is that!
nowhere near as bad as the "24 heures du mans race" where you estimate how many sheets of paper you need to buy (if sit down)before going in (smiley lady 10 franc a time)who called the gendarmme? when i lobbed a roll over the top (open air) to my mate.
As a result i think thai toilets are most reasonable! colin244 sorry for toilet humour

consider youself lucky colin244.. A friend of mine who was on his hols parted with just under 2000bt of tips in the toilet of "excite" of pattays 3rd road...
funny bit was he only went once and we had to leave because he was afraid to go again....
Toilet humour also but im sure those in the know will understand...
