Reading through the transcript of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed I came across a paragraph on page 18 at point 14. It reads rather disturbingly the following:-

There seems to be no time scale regarding this statement but Thailand at some stage has clearly been identified as a target.....

These guys are pure opportunists - they will target their victims anywhere.
They only have to get lucky once to make the headlines. If the agencies makes the news, it's generally for the wrong reasons.

I don't believe a word of that transcript. How many things has he admitted to.

Agreed, it doesn't sound right to me either!

Now that the guy has been caught he's probably got nothing more to lose since being connected with 9/11 etc etc. His statement is probably more of a terrorists 'wish list' than fact. Ensures his name lives on long after his lights have been turned off.

From years of police interviews,it is not unusual for suspects to "admit" to other offences. After all,it saves futher investigation and the case can be closed.

Has he admitted to being a "slash and burn" farmer yet who are trying to wreck my Chiang Rai trip!
