blimey that is bad luck  not surprising in some ways, the thais have a bit of a lax attitude to electrics. Very sad news, my sympathy to his family On a personal note, When i had my bungalow built we left a chap to do the electrics and went mad when i got home, it was damn right dangerous!! he was kicked off the job and i had to get it all redone
