My wife and I went to the Thai temple today in Birmingham as it was our disabled son's birthday recently. My wife wanted to make a donation on behalf of our son who is 5 years old blind with cerebral palsy. When we talked with one of the monks who kindly spared us some time he mentioned another Thai lady living in Cambridge who has a disabled daughter with similar problems to our son. My wife was under the impression she may have been the only Thai to have a disabled child in the country as we've never heard anyone speak previously about known disability within the Thai community over here in UK. My wife would like to get in touch with this lady if possible as they have a lot in common and much to share good and bad about their experiences looking after our children. My question is does any one on the group here know of the lady and her family in Cambridge and if so could they please pass on our details so that we can get in touch or PM any information you may have. Thank you for your help.
