Is that good news Thailand or do you think that Peter Reid could do much better by managing a Championship soccer team

He went out there at the beginning of May to play 5-a-side against "Zico" with Ian Rush, Viv Anderson and a few other "vets". I know Rushie made it back in one piece but it looks like Peter missed his flight!

Well, if Peter Withe can be successful there with no real experience, I don't see why Reid shouldn't be. Although he outstayed his welcome at Sunderland, he was also responsible for the best 3 or 4 seasons that most of us have ever seen.

2 crucial vacancies need to be filled first though:

1 large striker, min height 6' 4"
1 very skilled interpreter with a strong command of the incredible versatility of the 'F-word'
