The notion that Tesco has or attempts to take a strangle hold on goods for sale is not new. That it has now resorted to threatening to take to court any dissenters is.
The amount of compensation sort in Thailand is ridiculous and serves as a warning to all others who would speak out against it. Best have the facts and be able to prove them!! |

Well Tesco can sue me if they want. I've spoken out several times gainst the often unwelcome changes that it brings with its edge of towm superstore developments. These arguments aren't new, and its true that many "mom and pop" stores in the UK have also fallen prey to the rise of the supermarket, with many town centres being decimated. It's only now that many are starting to realise that local food produced with care by local people is something that must be preserved and promoted... and also that many aspects of supermarkets are not as great as they would like us to think. Recent price fixing asllegations/ food miles / squeezing of suppliers being just a few things to mention.
So I think its the abslute pits for Tesco to sue a journalist in this way. They wouldn't try it here because they know they'd never get away with it. By the way, I bought a great little DAB radio in Tesco tonight - £10 off, £29.97 |

You can't with with them and you can't live without them either.
By the way, the Technika DAB radio is excellent for the price. Any use in Thailand ? |
