Hi Guys, I’ve recently come across this website Say No To 0870 and it is amazing and will save you lots of money.
For expensive Tel No: starting with 0844, 0845, 0870 and 0871 and some 09 numbers this website will find you cheaper alternative phone numbers such as 01, 02 and 0800/0808. I have just called my Car insurance company and there Tel No: starts with 0870 but this website found a 0800 number for the same company, brilliant stuff. Good Luck If this doesn’t deserve a Blue Peter badge, then I don’t know what does [MODERATOR NOTE: Heading changed slightly to clearly identify content] |

Recently a new number range has been introduced by OFCOM, these start with 03. 03 numbers are treated in exactly the same as standard landline 01 and 02 numbers and will be charged in exactly the same way as 01 and 02. If you have free (or inclusive) calls to 01 and 02 numbers calls will also be free to 03 numbers.

[MODERATOR EDIT: This topic is not about cheap calls to Thailand but about alternative numbers to 087 and 084 numbers to call certain businesses in the UK. The website mentioned by muse is where you can find 01, 02 or 080 freephone numbers to call those businesses instead of calling the higher cost 087 and 084 numbers.
To avoid this one going off topic the content of this post has been removed as the details appear elsewhere in the Phone Call section of the forum] |
