I rang my friend yesterday on the new '8' number to her mobile. The quality was dreadful..no appaling I couldn't make out a word from her but it seemed she could hear me ok. I then rang back on the old number and it was perfect.

Anyone else had trouble.? I tried the new number 5 times and it was bad.

yep i call or my wife calls me every day and since the new number every call has a anoying buzzing sound where thats all i can here for about 30 seconds or so but the other end seems ok ,, have just started using thailand-uk telecom and thats fine so can only put it down to thai mobile or new number

never mind the noise Dao's in the village so I/she can't call at all till she hits the city (Phitsanulok)!

"mai pen rai" I believe as I have "jai dee" apparantly! so lucky me
