Posted DCO Thailand Until the Karma Ends A Plot to Destroy Burma Paul Adirex An action/adventure/suspense story revolving around a plot to destroy SLORC, the Burmese ruling military regime, by breaking up Burma into 3 countries. Lance Bellinger, a CIA subversion expert, is sent to do the job in March 1994 and must accomplish the mission before July 20, 1994, which will mark the fifth year that Aung San Suu Kyi, a Burmese democratic leader and the recipient of the 1992 Nobel Peace Prize, has been placed under house arrest in Rangoon by SLORC. Bellinger enlists assistance from Mandalay Aung, a beautiful half-American half-Burmese relief worker in Thailand. Unknown to Bellinger, his mission has been leaked to SLORC. As Bellinger travels all over Thailand and across the border into Burma to meet the leaders of the Shan, the Karen, and the Mon rebels, SLORC relentlessly tries to stop him. Bellinger's situation worsens when Victor Leskov, a former KGB officer who holds a grudge against Bellinger from their past encounter in the Soviet Union and now lives in Bangkok, joins the Burmese in hunting down Bellinger. Bellinger has to race against time and survive SLORC's and Leskov's vengeful hunts to complete his mission and at the same time stop 2 assassin teams sent by SLORC to kill the US Secretary of State who attends an international conference in Bangkok.
