Good Morning, Buddha

Good Morning, Buddha

Phra Peter Pannapadipo

Written by the author of Phra Farang: An English Monk in Thailand and One Step at a Time: Buddhist Meditation for Absolute Beginners, Good morning, Buddha propounds that Buddhist philosophy is of little value in our daily lives if we approach it intellectually. Rather we have to do it and live it for it to have any real value and to reap the benefits.

Based on the author's discourses with visitors and groups of students over the years, Good morning, Buddha explains the concept of Buddha and the practice of Buddhism in simple and practical terms, using the author's lay-life experiences and everyday occurrences as case studies. The author does not seek to present the Buddha's teaching in its entirety nor in any particular order. Rather his topmost concern is how lay people can use the teaching in a practical way to help them in this life, regardless of whether they are Buddhists or simply seeking a moral and ethical code or a philosophy to lead them into the future with confidence.
