No i don't. thinking of 'bangkok 8' i brought my copy in ireland and while reading was thinking that if i had never been to thailand and had not read other books from 'thai' authors then i wouldn't have enjoyed it so much. i could understand why guys like moore & needham can't get published outside of asia as many readers would be confused with cultural references etc.

i enjoyed the beach as well not at all like the film.
