Posted DCO Thailand Quest for Katoeys Lung David Tom is a European, visiting Thailand to research a novel about Ladyboys, known locally as Katoeys. His housekeeper Nit not only looks after the house, but also his welfare. Nit arranges for Tom to meet Katoeys and accompanies him to protect him; also to ensure that the interviews are productive. The story reflects Thai culture in the varied incidents involving Tom, Nit and her friends, and investigates some practical and psychological causes and effects of homosexual behaviour.
