"This movie is dedicated to every soul that awaits for the murderers to be punished"
The story begins with the discovery by police of a naked dead body; an unknown high school girl shoved into a box, her hands and feet bound with a monk's robe. Sacred text is scribed on her forehead.
The police pass the case on to the Department of Special Investigation (DSI). Commander Kanon (Nuttakorn Taewakul), in charge of the case, finds evidence that suggests this is no ordinary homicide. He sends the corpse to Dr. Nisha (Premsinee Ratanasopha) at the Central Institute of Forensic Science (CIFS) to find more clues and hopefully identify the body.
Meanwhile, Zee (Patiwat Ruengsri), a former pop idol fallen on stony ground, has a ghostly premonition about Ning (Napat Banchongchitpaisal), an ex-girlfriend, and sets out in search of her much to the displeasure of his latest girlfriend, Prae (Suthikarn Wanjareantaweekul), a young supermodel.
While Dr. Nisha manages to identify the body, it becomes apparent to Commander Kanon that haunted souls are trying to communicate with the living to tell their story of the killing. Between science and mystery, which one will solve the murder?
Not a ghost story as such. There is a ghost, but her purpose is to help the police bring her killer to justice.
Lots of twists and turns and blind alleys in the plot to keep you guessing. When the real killer is revealed it was someone I had already considered and rejected!
I too have recently watched this movie and thought it was excellect. In some ways its a bit like CSI New York, but with a more complex story line. I loved the internet cafe scene (who are you?)and the one where the the pop star was dumped by his new girlfriend right infront of the press cameras, (she told them before him). Highly recommended.
