Remake of the 1978 original Gerd Ma Lui. Undercover cop Deaw and his partner have been trying to capture Thailand's biggest arms smuggler, General Yang, for the past five years. Their final attempt proves fruitful as General Yang is captured, but his partner dies in the ensuing battle. Taking a vacation after the chaotic event, Deaw takes a trip to a rural village to pass out food and supplies to the villagers. But his vacation soon comes to a halt when the village is captured and held hostage by General Yang's men, who threaten to launch a nuke every hour he is not freed. After slaughtering half the villagers and rounding up the rest, General Yang's men make an ultimatum to the Prime Minister - either release Yang, or the rest of the villagers will die.

Seen this film it is really good and some of the fight scenes are 10/10.
I seem to remember that there was some issue with the number of stunt men "damaged" in the production of this movie,ie life is cheap. Just look at the scene with the two big trucks and the guy falling off betwen them, does his head go under the wheels, or is it just very very close.

Another great Thai action movie ! Can't really imagine that hearing 'God Save The Queen' on the radio in UK would have the same effect

Good action movie, with some very hairy stunts! No wires, no CGI, it's all real! (If you freeze the frame and then slow motion forward, you can see that he moves his head out of the way just before the wheel goes over it; but only just!)

This must be the worst film I saw in 2006

the plot was just ridiculous and the action scenes a load of crap but then I did watch it straight after fearless, which is a must see
