Winner of the Grand Prize in the 2007 Brussels International Independent Film Festival, Bangkok Love Story is a gay romantic action drama, the story of a man who falls in love with a gunman assigned to kill him.
Lone hitman, Mek (Rattanaballang Tohssawat), carries out his gruesome job to raise money to support his mother and sick brother. He is assigned to kidnap police informant It (Chaiwat Thongsaeng), but has a change of heart when ordered to kill him. In a gunfight with his employers, Mek is wounded and It comes to his rescue by returning fire. The two escape to Mek's rooftop hideout where It attends to Mek's injuries and a passionate affair breaks out between the two men. Confused, they go their separate ways and It returns home to his fiancée, Sai (Chutcha Rujinanon), but finds he's lost interest in her since his affair with Mek. A complex tale of love and death begins when It seeks to reunite himself with Mek.
