A heart-warming story of friendship between a young girl and a puppy bringing out the meaning of love and friendship. Eight year old Kaoneow is brought to stay with her relatives after her mother divorces. Without the good care of her mother, Kaoneow never gets over the lonely feeling that she has no one to give her love. One day, she meets a stray puppy in the street. She names it Mooping (grilled pork) after the food it eats and decides to take it home, secretly keeping it from her relatives. No secret is forever concealed, when her relatives find out and want to free the puppy, an adventure between the girl and the puppy begins.

เรื่องของเด็กหญิงวัย 8 ขวบ ชื่อ ข้าวเหนียว ที่ต้องจากครอบครัวมาอาศัยอยู่ที่บ้านญาติของแม่ เพราะพ่อแม่แยกทางกันและไม่มีเวลาเลี้ยงดู ระหว่างที่ข้าวเหนียวใช้ชีวิตอยู่ในบ้านหลังนี้เธอรู้สึกเหงาและว้าเหว่มาก จนกระทั่งวันหนึ่ง ข้าวเหนียวได้พบกับลูกหมาที่ชื่อ หมูปิ้ง แอบนำมาเลี้ยงไว้ในบ้านทั้งสองผูกพันรักกันมาก จนความลับเรื่องหมูปิ้งแตกขึ้นมา ทำให้ข้าวเหนียวและหมูปิ้งต้องพลัดพรากจากกัน ข้าวเหนียวเฝ้าติดตามหาหมูปิ้ง ซึ่งไม่รู้ว่าจะมีโอกาสหรือเปล่า และถ้าได้พบกันอีกหมูปิ้งยังจะจำเธอได้อีกหรือไม่
